The Clouds of Venus revolve around light, landscape, and uncertainty in a context of climate change. An installation that immerses us in the mechanisms of the greenhouse effect, in the accumulation of particles, the limits of space, the transformation of light and the visibility of the environment. A project that reflects on the phenomenology of accumulation, and the form of uncertainty.
The work consists of a smoke machine installed within the group exhibition “And if, if only, if this continues” curated by Aina Pomar Cloquell and for the 2023 BARBARA H. WEIL “ART FOR CHANGE” Prize at STUDIO WEIL (Pto Andratx , Mallorca, Spain) 07/09-22/10/2023

Las Nubes de Venus giran en torno a la luz y el paisaje, pero también sobre la incertidumbre en un contexto de cambio climático. Una instalación que nos sumerge en los mecanismos del efecto invernadero, en la acumulación de partículas, los límites del espacio, la transformación de la luz y la visibilidad del entorno. Un proyecto que reflexiona sobre la fenomenología de la acumulación, y la forma de la incerteza.
La obra consiste en una máquina de humo instalada dentro de la exposición colectiva “Y si, si solo, si esto continúa” comisariada por Aina Pomar Cloquell y para el Premio BARBARA H. WEIL “ART FOR CHANGE” 2023 en STUDIO WEIL (Pto Andratx, Mallorca , España)
Horario: La exposición permanecerá abierta los sábados y sábados de 11 a 14 durante septiembre y viernes a domingo de 11 a 14 durante octubre de 2023.
